ACKROYD HOUSE FACILITIES AND SERVICES
Please use the outdoor water tap and boot scraper provided for cleaning your footwear and outdoor clothing when required.
A First Aid Kit is provided in each of The Suites available at Ackroyd House, the location of which will be pointed out on your initial arrival at Ackroyd House.
On your return to Ackroyd House, if you have any items of clothing or footwear that require drying please use the designated drying area or contact Jayne or Andrew by using the 24/7 contact button and we shall endeavour to do what we can !!!!! (ALL PART OF THE SERVICE)!!
For Cyclists, a lockable undercover area for safe overnight storage of bicycles and panniers is provided.
An Emergency cycle and puncture repair kit is also provided.
ACKROYD HOUSE FOOD AND DRINK ARRANGEMENTS
At Ackroyd House each Suite is serviced with Hot and Cold drink making facilities, with a wide variety of teas, coffees, hot chocolate etc. Please feel free to make a flask up for your Journey!!!
Although Evening Meals are not available at Ackroyd House, the very popular Rose and Crown Public House in our local village is less than half a mile from Ackroyd House and serves a variety of Hot and Cold meals, daily specials, Sunday roasts etc. Details of opening times are available in The Ackroyd House Reception Room.
There are a multitude of places to eat within a few miles of Ackroyd House, from the local "Chippy", to award winning restaurants, with international cuisine to suit all tastes .Comprehensive details of these, with an approximate distance from Ackroyd House, are available both in your Suite and on our website.

New Mill Village
Directions: From Ackroyd House travel back down Top O' Th' Bank and turn left down Thurstonland Bank Road. After approximately half a mile turn left onto Sheffield Road. You will arrive at The Village of New Mill after approximately two miles. Cash machines can be found at either The Post Office or at The Co-op Shop just around the corner. Short term parking can usually be found outside The Post Office (directly opposite The White Hart Inn)
Directions: From Ackroyd House travel back down Top O' Th' Bank and turn left onto Thurstonland Bank Road. After approximately half a mile turn right onto Sheffield Road. After approximately one mile, you will see The Co-op Garage on your right hand side.
